Do you think dating men on an online dating site seems to desperate? I ask this because when I told my roommate that I have signed up on one of these sites, she said it was being desperate. I don't agree with her at all. I think dating men that you meet on these dating sites is a good thing. It's a great way to meet single guys. Even if it is just a brief encounter, or just one date, it's getting yourself out there to be noticed and seen. Not to mention way more safe than going to bars to meet men. At least you have a chance to get to know them a little better before actually meeting them.

So I answer a few of the profiles that catch my eye, and find this really nice guy. We talk on the site for about a week and then we exchange phone numbers so we can talk on the phone. He ends up calling me the very next day and we talk for over 4 hours. Wow, I don't remember ever talking that long on the phone, well at least not since I was a teenager.

We make a dinner date for the following night. Dating men has always made me nervous, especially on the very first date. And this time was no exception. I think I was more nervous this time than I can ever remember. Because I really like this guy and he seems so sweet.

We had a great first date, and we both want to see each other again. So we decide to go out again in a few days. I can totally see him as my husband, he is that much of a gentleman. He even opens the doors for me. He seems so sincere about how I feel and wants me to be comfortable and happy. I love it when he reaches out to me to caress my shoulder when he thinks I am sad.

As far as I am concerned, right now I have no interest in dating men, I think I have found the one guy that I could spend the rest of my life with. I will take it slow and see how this relationship works out. But as far as I can tell, I think it will last for a long time. Maybe even forever. That is how much I like and love this man.
