Adult Story Time

I met my husband on one of those dating websites after a serious of failed relationships and unsuccessful blind dates my friends had set me up on. I had given up hope on guys in my area, they all seemed to be the same. Must have been something in the water! I had a few friends set me up on a blind date too. We did have lots in common but we didn't have that magic spark between us, so I joined a few dating websites.

To start with I had lots of messages on the dating websites from different guys, but I didn't really like any of them that much. I sat in front of the computer one day going through all the profiles which met my searches. Eventually I found one guy, my husband. He was so adorable and we got on so well. We went on a date about a week after meeting on the website. We got chatting and time flew by, before we knew it they were calling last orders at the bar. The next time I saw him he cooked me a beautiful dinner. We sat and talked all night, and I went to work so tired, but felt so happy. I text him all day and evening and couldn't wait to seehim again. We had so much in common and shared the same likes and dislikes and,we both had been in bad relationships which had made us both stronger mentally.

After we had been dating for a few weeks we decided to introduce each other to our families. I was very nervous when he came to meet my family but he got on really well with them, and they really liked him. I got on really well with his family too and thought his mother was brilliant when I first met her.

A few weeks before Christmas he proposed. He got down on 1 knee and everything, it was so sweet, I couldn't refuse! We got married 2 years later and are very happy together. I never really believed in soul mates before, but now I have found mine, I do.

I am so glad I went on those dating websites as I would have never have met my husband. It also gave me a lot of confidence chatting to other guys and flirting. And when your living on your own, it's nice to have someone you can chat to.
